How does your product differ from the grease trap we have now?
Grease traps commonly installed today require frequent cleaning, grease traps will discharge grease and solid waste into city sewers if they are not properly maintained. The ECH2OTM filtering system removes solids waste. Oil and grease is automatically separated from the wastewater and the effluent graywater is pumped into city sewers.
|
I use enzymes in my drains. Why would I need anything else?
Cities have found that enzymes do not actually eliminate oil and grease, they only allow it to travel further downstream in the sewer system before solidifying. The use of enzymes in drains has already been outlawed in many states.
|
With your system my dishwasher is going to have to clean out the filters several times a day. I don't think I can depend on him to do that. How can this work for my restaurant?
It takes about a minute to clean the filters and typically the filters need to be cleaned daily. Cleaning plates a little more thoroughly, using strainers in sinks, and avoiding putting a large volume of food waste down the drain will cut down on frequency of cleaning the filters. The system is equipped with an alarm to indicate when the filters are too full.

My grease trap is working fine. Why should I want to purchase your ECH2OTM System?
To stay in compliance with the city codes restaurants presently pay to have oil and grease removed from traps on a regular basis. Solid food particles in drains create clogs which must be cleaned out. Installing an ECH2OTM system can avoid the maintenance costs of conventional grease traps and the cost of drain clean-up within the facility, to assure compliance with regulations. These savings make replacement of a conventional grease trap with an ECH2OTM system a sensible economic decision.
