Temperature Reduction

If the dishwasher is closer than 10 feet to the ECH2OTM system, or if the effluent water temperature is in excess of 140°, the API Temperature Reducing Valve is recommended to lower water temperature. This will prevent possible damage to the piping and the ECH2OTM system complying with plumbing codes regarding the maximum water temperature allowed to enter the sewer system.
